On this 7 days Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari Adventure, you will engage in game drives, Boat cruise, Chimp tracking and Gorilla trekking adventure. This is an opportunity for you to see the mountain gorillas if you have limited time to go on a safari, with stunning scenery and view of the local communities.
Flight from Entebbe to Kihihi will help cut the long driving time to Bwindi Gorilla Park, before a leisurely game in the Queen Elizabeth National Park while a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel has a lot of birdlife and game to offer to your site.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrive Entebbe international airport, you will meet and greet with your 7 Day Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari driver or guide who will then transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Entebbe Flight to Bwindi Gorilla Park
Morning transfer to Entebbe international airport for a local lightweight flight to Kihihi Airstrip, a representative from the lodge who will be waiting for your arrival, meet and greet then transfer to the Bwindi gorilla park.
Check in at your lodge, lunch and relax at the lodge contemplating on the Gorilla Trekking adventure the next morning.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in southwestern Uganda edge at the edge of the great East African Rift Valley. It is home to over 400 species of mountain gorillas about half of the world’s population. Many of these are habituated in families that are daily visited by tourists. The forest is also home to over 350 species of birds and 400 flora species.
Gorilla trekking starts at 8 am after a briefing at the park headquarters, you will trek through the dense steep forest searching for the gorillas depending on where they were seen making nests the previous evening.
The trekking can last 2-7 hours depending on how soon you find the gorillas, this is influenced by the location they stayed overnight. Trekking can be a tasking adventure, but coming to a facial closeup with these close relatives to human is a reward worthy to earn

Day 4, Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After the Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari morning breakfast, take a relaxed drive Northwards to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park, an African savanna game drive searching for tree climbing lions and lunch en-route as you continue to the drive to Mweya sector of the park where you will spend overnight.
Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth Park is the most endowed with animal species including Impalas, Elands, Buffaloes, elephant, famous tree-climbing lions and depending on how lucky you are; you may also find a Leopard.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drives in the Kasenyi plains through to Katwe Kob mating grounds. Most of the animals you are likely to find here include impalas, sitatungas and lions when lucky enough.
Afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel will give you great views of several games including Hippos, Buffaloes, elephants and birdlife that Queen Elizabeth National Park has to offer. After the Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari boat cruise and continue with an evening savanna game drive in the park before returning to your lodge for an overnight.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest National Park
Morning drive to the chimp-land with a stopover by the crater lakes and hike to the top of the world, you will have lunch en-route before heading to Kibale Forest Park.
Afternoon visit Bigodi swamp, this is a community project aimed at improving the livelihoods of the local people, a local guide will lead you on a developed 4.5km trail through the swamp for approximately 3 hours where you can find several bird species including the great blue Turraccos, Hornbills Kingfishers and also Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkeys can be spotted.

Day 7: Kibale to Entebbe and Departure
Kibale forest has over 1,450 individuals (Chimpanzees) protected within the park. At Kanyanchu, a community of chimpanzees has been habituated since 1991, allowing visitors an outstanding opportunity to Track these apes in their natural Habitat.
The Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari tracking starts at 7 am with a briefing at Kanyanchu Park headquarter where you will be allocated rangers to take you to the forest. An advance team already in the forest keep tracking the chimps and communicates with your ranger on the radio call, tracking can last for 2 to 4 hours depending on how far the chimps could be feeding.
On returning from chimp tacking, have lunch at the lodge before starting a gentle drive through tea plantations and beautiful scenery with a lunch stopover en-route arriving Entebbe late afternoon in time to check in for your flight back home

2 Nights in Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino tracking
Day 1, Transfer from Kibale Forest to Murchison Falls National Park
The Gorillas & Wild Uganda Safari will transfer from Kibale to Murchison falls National Park with Lunch en-route, picnic stops en-route and stunning views of the scenery will spice up the drive, tea plantations is one of the friendliest to your sight en-route, arriving in the late afternoon check in and relax at the lodge.
Day 2, Game drive and launch cruise
Early morning game drive in the park searching for the animals, major species likely to be sited on the game drive includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, kobs, and on a lucky day even a lion can be sited. After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of falls where you will disembark and take a hike to the top of falls, this is a rewarding adventure as the hike is relatives and takes you along the water fall through a forested hill with great views of the waterfalls.
Day 3, Transfer from Murchison falls to Entebbe and Departures
Morning drive from Murchison through Nakasongola, Rhino tracking and Lunch.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only place to the Southern White Rhinoceros in wild and natural habitat. A walk is a rewarding adventure, an opportunity to watch these endangered species of rhinos at a close range.
Continue the drive to Entebbe arriving at the airport in time to check in for your evening flight back home.
